Our story
Started with one pot of balm.
Wetlips began in 2021 at a kitchen table, after one too many winters of cracked lips and plastic tubes. The first batch was twelve tins. The idea was simple: a short ingredient list, a texture that feels good, and packaging we would not be ashamed to throw away.
We still make every product by hand, in batches small enough to check each one. Nothing is outsourced to a factory we have never visited.
What goes in
- Shea butter and cocoa butter for a soft, non-greasy finish.
- Jojoba, sweet almond and calendula oils.
- Food-grade sugar for the scrub.
- Essential oils at low concentrations, or no fragrance at all.
What stays out
- Mineral oil and petroleum jelly.
- Synthetic fragrance and dyes.
- Plastic glitter and microbeads.
- Claims we cannot test.
